Well wouldn’t ya know, just like that it’s the middle of August. I feel sad to say this but it really feels like fall today. If I were talking to Brandon he’d explain something about the dew-point, but no matter the reason. All I know is that I’m not ready for the end of summer because I just don’t feel like I’ve gotten to soak it up as much as I need to before I’m ready for, dare I say it… winter.
In this frenzy of a summer, so much has happened. We passed our one-year wedding anniversary and one-year-of-life-in-Iowa City anniversary. Brandon turned 30 and, for the first time ever, we started shopping to buy a house! #nobigthang #onlyslightlyterrified
Here are a few more highlights from the summer:
▼ I took my shop off Etsy and am in the middle of some serious changes (think: wholesale!).
▼ I received my graphic design certificate and am now doing freelance design for small biz owners in the Iowa City area!
▼ I’ve been doing my best to keep this dog cool. Would you believe that he used to be an Arkansas boy? I don’t know how he was able to withstand that heat in all his poofiness. Also, that Iowa sky. So beautiful.
Whew, so many changes! But we couldn’t be more excited about how much fun this season of life has been so far.
PS. I cannot even begin to tell you how goooood it feels to be back! Thank you for being here, friends!
