Two weeks ago I announced my new shop, The Bramble Lab, and now that everything has been photographed it’s time I reveal all the designs!
My first designs make up three genres…
So the designs are super rad, yes, but I’m also excited about the paper and packaging I’m using, because I did my research and picked out the highest quality, eco-conscious materials I could find. The paper is from a small-batch paper mill that’s here in the midwest and is entirely hydro-powered by the river it sits on. It’s a thick paper that’s also super soft and has a very pretty white hue that’s clean and crisp without being so bright you need shades to read what’s printed on it. All of this… and would you believe that the cards are even made from post-recycled paper?
They are. I’m pretty pumped about it.
Oh, and the packaging. It’s compostable! I didn’t photograph it here because it’s clear, but trust me. It’s pretty cool.
PS. The Bramble Lab has it’s own instagram account – follow along for more behind-the-scenes updates from the shop! You can also follow The Bramble Lab on facebook, my personal instagram account (@rachelrunningwild), and @thebramblelab on twitter.
So tell me – which card is your favorite? Do you shop local for the holiday season? Is there a store or market in your town that you shop at for the holidays?
