A little over a week ago, I was in Indy for my role with Yelp and last night I had a chance to sort through my photos from my trip. This was my first time visiting Indy and although I didn’t have time to sight-see, I did hit up some amazing food spots!
If you’re ever in Indianapolis, you have to stop at Locally Grown Gardens. You just have to. They bake amazing pie and have the most zen-like atmosphere.
Oh and Cake Bake. Holy hanna, best chocolate cake I think I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten a lot of chocolate cake. Plus, the shop itself is straight from a fairytale.
The morning of the huge event I was in town to help out with, I had brunch at Milktooth. They bake delicious things like pop tarts with pop rocks on top and grilled cheese sandwiches with a duck egg on top. Taste bud explosion.
The event was being hosted by the Central Public Library, which in itself is a beautiful landmark to check out. There were tons of little nooks I would have loved to snuggle into with a book.
The event, #yelpbazaar, was incredible. Which is a massive understatement.
